We invite teachers, students groups and community organisations to join us in the gallery.

The Contemporary Art Tasmania Education program engages with Secondary and Tertiary students and teachers, as well as community organisations to provide gallery visits and talks about our current exhibition, contemporary art practice and related ideas. Contemporary Art Tasmania also provides a number of ways to access resources, including our public program, print and digital publications and our podcast, What are you looking at?

Contemporary Art Tasmania offers hosted exhibition tours or you are welcome to undertake a self-directed visit. We can also provide an introduction to the organisation and speak on a variety of contemporary art related topics.

Education visits to Contemporary Art Tasmania are free.  Bookings are essential, preferably two weeks in advance.
